The Day Of

Well it has been over 24 hours of travel, and jet lag has well and truely kicked in.

Our flights with Qatar were both excellent. Their level of servcie is fantastic and every meal we had was terrific. The lounge in Doha is huge, well staffed and very modern. They had obviously done a heap of work in the lead up to the World Cup Football.

There is a train that links the terminals and avoids very lenghy walks.

It was such an easy entry into London at Heathrow where we had a hire car waiting (thankyou Amex), and next stop was our Air BnB in Holland Park. It is a lovely area and we found the Pub very quickly after an unpack and wash.

We didn’t last too long at the Pub, quick drink, quick meal and eyes are closing.

Overall, I think we will pull up OK tomorrow. Time will tell, but for now zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
